Top Driving School teaches students the specifics of New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission’s (NJMVC) Graduated Driver’s Licensing (GDL) Program, preparing them for their final exam as well as their lifelong journey thereafter.

Our vehicles meet all safety regulations, including functional seatbelts and dual-controlled brakes. Licensed and insured by the state of New Jersey while maintaining the highest quality of regular checkups, cleanups, and tuneups.
For your convenience, we are a door-to-door service provider. We pick up and drop off our students to and from their homes, schools, and workplaces. Offering driving services 7 days a week, operating at reasonable hours to ensure flexibility in your scheduling. Call us today!

How it works
Get a Permit
Every first-time driver needs to obtain an Initial Permit. It is the starting line for every new driver. The Process and paperwork vary depending on age and citizenship status. 16-year-olds must Sign Up for their 6 hours!
Validation
If you're in HS and have taken driver's ed, you will have received an email receipt stating that you passed your Knowledge Test. If not, you will need to visit an MVC Location to take both a knowledge test and a vision test!
Practice Driving
After validating your permit, you are allowed to begin driving with a Supervised Driver. Depending on your age, you might have certain Restrictions. Regardless of age, anyone can Sign Up for lessons today!
Pass Your Road Test
Get Your License
Congratulations! You're almost there. After meeting all of the state's requirements, you'll need to process your Probationary License at an MVC Licensing Center. Remember to bring your 6 Points of ID and Proof of Address!
For drivers aged 16 years old

I’m an adult learner and I was feeling very anxious about driving and taking the road test. This school is the best and a BIG shout to Darius !!! Best instructor ever. He’s super effective in his teaching but also so nice and made me feel relaxed and confident while driving. I passed today! Darius was very accommodating and worked with me so I could get my lessons in and after a couple lessons I felt confident enough to take the test after putting it off for so long. The school also was able to squeeze me in for a refresh session right before I took the test which I really appreciated them making the time for. I took lessons with a different school in Bergen County, and I did not have a great experience with them (the teachers seemed disengaged and disinterested during the lessons and I didn’t feel that I learned well). Top Driving School, however, totally exceeded my expectations - I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anybody looking to learn to drive!! Don’t think twice about booking with them, definitely sign up! Thank you guys!!
This review is being written from my perspective as a parent. I was invited by Danny to ride along for the last of my son's 3 driving lessons so that I could personally gauge my son's abilities and be prepared to work with him. In addition to having a friendly attitude, Danny was a highly knowledgeable and skilled instructor who provided clear instructions, helpful techniques, effective praise, and constructive feedback. My son was nervous, but Danny strived to put him at ease with his patient, calm demeanor, checking in periodically on my son's state of mind and even adapting the lesson with driving routes that suited my son's level - not too overwhelming, yet still challenging enough. Most importantly, Danny taught invaluable defensive driving methods that will undoubtedly help avoid accidents. At the conclusion, he asked for my input and followed up with appropriate recommendations. The fact that my son looks forward to practicing driving with me is a testament to his positive learning experience with Danny, who has my strongest recommendation.
